1. Scope
These terms apply to the WeconnectAi website and the free pre-screening apps. Separate terms apply to any paid engineering or fiscalização service — those are governed by a written service proposal.
2. The free apps are not professional advice
The five free apps are preliminary screening tools. They are designed to give a rough, non-binding indication. They are not a substitute for:
- advice from a licensed architect (arquitecto) or engineer (engenheiro);
- advice from a lawyer (advogado / solicitador);
- official responses from the câmara municipal, ADENE, or any other public body;
- the official energy certificate issued by a perito qualificado registered with ADENE.
No output of the apps is a legal or professional determination. Do not commit financially, contractually, or otherwise based on an app output alone.
3. AI outputs may be wrong
The apps are powered by a generative AI model. Outputs can be factually incorrect, incomplete, or outdated — especially given the moving nature of Portuguese urban planning law (RJUE was recently amended by DL 10/2024 and DL 108/2026, with further amendments in progress). Always cross-check with the câmara or a lawyer.
4. No warranty; limitation of liability
The site and apps are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by Portuguese law, WeconnectAi is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damage arising from the use of, or reliance on, any output of the apps.
5. Intellectual property
Site design, copy, and code are © WeconnectAi. The app logic is original to WeconnectAi. You are free to use the apps and download outputs for personal, non-commercial use.
6. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. The courts of Faro, Portugal, have exclusive jurisdiction for any dispute.
